Throughout October, St. Luke’s Sunday services will be focusing on “Extravagant Generosity,” a concept put forward by UMC Bishop Robert Schnase. As part of this special month of activities, all members will be asked to respond to three Heart Cards, and these responses will be key to the month’s events.
This is the 3rd and final heart card of the month: “What is your hope and vision for our church?”
Members will receive this card in the mail and/or at a Sunday service, and they are asked to return them during the Oct. 24 service. We also invite members to use the comments section of this article to share their thoughts on this topic, too.

Members will receive this card in the mail and/or at a Sunday service, and they are asked to return them during the Oct. 17 service. We also invite members to use the comments section of this article to share their thoughts on this topic, too.
Extravagant Generosity Daily Readings Commentary
Beginning Sept. 25, all St. Luke’s members will be receiving a copy of “Practicing Extravagant Generosity: Daily Readings on the Graceof Giving.” Everyone is encouraged to begin these daily readings on Monday, Oct. 3 as part of a month long series of sermons and other activities on the topic of Extravagant Generosity.
